Vedettes de l'Odet
♦ The Bay of Concarneau to visit the Blue City with your eyes...
Dreams are so close...
The River Odet, the Breton Beauty
Loopik, an adorable little tern, accompanies your children through a booklet of games offered to all children aged 3 to 12. A family outing based on playful discovery!
On board the Aigrette, the restaurant boat, the chef and his team welcome their guests for an exceptional lunch cruise. In the panoramic room, installed on the port or starboard side, the spectacle of the river unfolds before your eyes. Enjoy the food and the scenery as you sit down to fish, seafood or grilled Breton lobster! The restaurant boat also welcomes groups for cocktail cruises, seminars and other business meals or private events.
Depending on the tides, it is possible to embark in Quimper and stop off at Bénodet, a seaside resort in Cornouaille, before taking the boat back for the return journey. This is an opportunity to complete your cruise with a visit to Bénodet. The old port, the seafront, the Pointe St Gilles, the mouth of the Odet with Sainte Marine on the right bank. A relaxed family atmosphere with cafe-restaurants, an ice-cream parlour, the thalasso centre, the cinema, the seaside museum and the little train that will take you through Bénodet!
The Glénan Islands, the Breton Lagoon
Located only an hour's sail from the mainland, the Glénan archipelago and its string of islets offer a surprising spectacle of nature in its purest form. Stretches of fine white sandy beaches, emerald-green sea, nesting seabirds, jealously guarded seabed: paradise is here!
During your stopover on the island of Saint Nicolas, reputed to be the capital of the archipelago, you will enjoy the tranquillity of the place by taking a walk. You will appreciate the beauty of the island before settling on a beach for a picnic or a swim in clear waters.
In the afternoon, you can embark on a boat for the great "discovery of the archipelago". Accompanied by a guide, you will sail through the archipelago, getting to know all the islands up close and personal. Sailing, fishing, fauna, flora and historical anecdotes will no longer hold any secrets for you!
On board the "Capitaine Némo", the catamaran with underwater vision, you will dive into the wonderful world of silence where fish, crustaceans and starfish hide among the hymantales, these strange algae that look like mermaid hair. And to make this trip a real educational experience, an aquatic enthusiast will accompany you.
The more sporty will navigate the archipelago on their own with the "Sea Kayak Escapade" formula. The seven main islands and numerous islets offer a multitude of excursions. The Chambre des Glénan, a sheltered inland sea, has become a landmark for kayakers.
The Bay of Concarneau, the Blue City at a glance!
To give you an overview of the bay of Concarneau, the boat sets sail for a breath of fresh air. A 180° panorama of the ocean opens up before you. To the west, the tip of Beg Meil. To the east, the Pointe du Cabellou. You walk along the coast passing by the cove of Kersaux which shelters a few yachtsmen and the point of Cabellou before returning by the cornice where the chapel of the Cross rubs shoulders with the old private mansions and the modern constructions.
From May to mid-September, set sail from Concarneau to the charming little port of Beg Meil in the commune of Fouesnant. At the other end of the bay, stop off in the small seaside resort with a taste of holiday!
