Then, meet in front of the cathedral to board a new tourist train for a commented tour in through the old city centre districtsthe little train will end its journey at Locmaria.
From the time of the Roman conquest, a small urbanised centre, Locmaria, was established on the banks of the Odet, around a port open to the Mediterranean world. Follow your guide and immerse yourself in the original quarter of Quimper where you can admire Locmaria Abbey, its Romanesque church, its cloister and its the magnificent priory and its medieval garden, classified as a "remarkable garden".
This visit will be followed by a demonstration of pancake making lace on the beaks at the biscuit factory in Quimper followed by a tasting of local specialities: Breton cakes, galettes, palets, kouign-amann....

Take a guided tour through the factory where everything is made and decorated by hand: tableware collections, decorative objects, unique pieces, earthenware jewellery. And of course the famous first name bowl invented in the 1930s.
