This Sunday 25 September 2022, the embroiderer and stylist Pascal Jaouen will take his leave as Director of the Quimper School of Art Embroidery, which he founded over 20 years ago. On this occasion, the famous Quimper embroiderer invites the public to attend his final show entitled "A Galon" (Merci de Tout cœur in Breton).
Rendezvous at the Vieux-Port of Bénodet for board the Vedettes de l'Odet for a commented cruise on the Odet. Descending from the Black Mountains, the Odet receives the waters of the Steïr at Quimper, thus giving its name to the town, Kemper in Breton meaning "confluence". It widens, blossoms, becomes "the most beautiful river in France The route is adorned with legendary rocks, Roman ruins and a procession of castles, ending in Bénodet, a sumptuous estuary. Return to the quay around midday.

For this last bow, the embroiderer-stylist from Quimper invites you to attend a unique and sumptuous fashion show at the Artimon, a hall in the Quimper-Cornouaille Exhibition Centre. 150 outfits, including the most emblematic of her career and new creations embroidered on the theme of the Four Seasons, will evolve with grace on a choreography by Mick Nédelec, with music by Gwennyn and Patrick Marzin.
