Biscuiterie La Trinitaine Quimper
The best of Breton biscuits and specialities
► The best recipes are often the result of chance... In 1955, the pastry chef Lucien Petit ran a modest shop in La Trinité-sur-Mer. One day, he misses one of his recipes and, rather than throwing away the dough, he gets the idea to bake it and then roll the biscuits as soon as they come out of the oven. Without knowing it, Lucien Petit had just invented a nugget of deliciousness: the Cigarette, a thin biscuit rolled in pure churned butter! It was an immediate success and led to the creation of the La Trinitaine biscuit factory. 60 years later, the Petit family is still at the stove, proud to perpetuate the pastry tradition, passed down from generation to generation.
► La Trinitaine also offers many gift ideas for all occasions (birthdays, retirements, holiday souvenirs, end of year gifts...).
♦ Traditional pure butter biscuits: pound cakes, galettes, palets and cigarettes
